Types of Titanium Material
The titanium materials produced by our company mainly include the following types:
Titanium Rod
Titanium rod is a cylindrical piece of the metal titanium, known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. These properties make it suitable for a wide range of applications, including use in medical implants, aerospace components, and even architectural features.
Titanium Tube
Titanium Straight tube is lightweight, has high strength and superior mechanical properties. It is widely used in heat exchange equipment, such as tubular heat exchangers, coil heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators and transmission pipelines.
Titanium Forgings
Titanium forgings are used for specific applications where excellent strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance are required.

Advantages of Titanium Material
All metals have a melting point — and titanium is no exception. Titanium, however, has a higher melting point than many other metals, including iron, aluminum, tin and copper. It takes temperatures in excess of 3,304 degrees Fahrenheit to melt titanium.
Titanium has the highest strength-to-density ratio of all metals on the periodic table; its strength-to-density ratio is even higher than that of steel’s. Titanium isn’t necessarily stronger than steel. They are both offer relatively the same amount of strength. Titanium, however, is about half as dense as its steel counterpart.
Another key advantage of titanium in the manufacturing industry is corrosion resistance. Many metals and alloys rust when exposed to oxygen. Oxygen in the air or water causes them to oxidize. As oxidation occurs, a layer of rust will begin to form. Titanium, on the other hand, has a natural defense mechanism that protects it from rust.
Titanium weighs less than most other metals and alloys. When compared to steel, titanium weighs about half as much. This is another reason why aerospace manufacturing companies use it. You’ll often find fuselages made of titanium. Titanium is just as strong as steel, but it only weighs about half as much.
Titanium is recyclable, thus allowing manufacturing companies to minimize waste. It can be melted down and reused in future applications. Furthermore, since it doesn’t suffer from corrosion, titanium doesn’t deteriorate. Products made of titanium will maintain their structure so that they can be recycled many years down the road.
Applications of Titanium Material
Aerospace – Due to its high strength and corrosion resistance, titanium is a fantastic choice for aerospace manufacturing components and equipment like engines, landing gear, rotors, hydraulic systems, compressor blades, and exhaust ducts.
Marine & Aquatics – Titanium’s ability to highly resist corrosion from seawater makes it a desirable metal for marine crafts, such as submarines, ship rigs, propeller shafts, offshore rigging, aquarium thermostats, and desalination plants.
Medical & Surgical – Titanium is non-toxic and surprisingly compatible with the human body. For that reason, it’s widely used for surgical instruments and procedures, prosthetics, and dental or surgical implants.
Military – Titanium and its alloys are often used to manufacture military vehicles and machinery, including fighter jets, jet engines, and missiles.
Sports – Modern titanium uses extend to sports as well, where the metal is often used to make bike frames, as well as frames for other sports such as tennis and badminton. Other sports’ titanium applications include baseball bats, golf clubs, and ski equipment.
Jewelry – The high strength-to-density ratio and corrosion resistance of titanium make it useful in the crafting of bracelets, rings, and necklace chains.
Electronics – Titanium can often be found in computer frames, laptop batteries, and sometimes in mobile devices.
Storage Precautions for Titanium Materials
● For the preservation of titanium plate products in the site or warehouse, should be selected in a clean, smooth drainage place, away from harmful gas or dust factories and mines. The ground should be cleared of weeds and all debris, maintain titanium clean.
● In the warehouse can not be stacked together with acid, alkali, salt, sensitive soil and other titanium denudative materials. Different varieties of titanium classification should be piled up, avoid mislead, avoid contact with the corrosion of the object.
● Large titanium tubes, titanium rods, thick titanium plates, large diameter titanium tubes, titanium forgings and other titanium alloy materials can be stacked in the open air.
● Small and medium-sized regular model titanium, titanium plate, titanium rod, medium diameter titanium tube, titanium wire, etc., can be stored and placed in a satisfactory ventilated material shed, remember that the upper and lower mat.
