Nissan GT-R is known as the "God of War", and this title does not only come from its huge upgrade space, but also from the brilliant performance of the early GT-R in the arena. After the R34 was discontinued for many years, after Nissan's new design and the use of a large number of high-tech products, the GT-R (R35) finally returned to the market as an independent car series, and with its strong strength, it defended the title of "Nissan God of War". At the same time, the R35 has also been built into a variety of specifications of racing cars, participating in various large-scale events; and in the folk, there are naturally many owners who modify the R35. In the traditional modification concept, tires, exhaust and other systems are the basic links for modifying and upgrading a car.

The mid-rear exhaust of the Nissan GT-R is made of titanium alloy material, and the structure adopts a double-sided four-outlet design. Thanks to the high strength of the titanium alloy material itself, the exhaust pipe wall can be made thinner while ensuring the exhaust strength, making its lightweight advantage more prominent.
The reason why the exhaust system is regarded as the basic link of modification and upgrading is not because it can bring much power to the car, but because it has a very important impact on the later power upgrade. First of all, in addition to inhaling enough air, the normal operation of the engine also requires the exhaust system to discharge the engine exhaust in time. However, under the pressure of cost, the original exhaust generally has a large exhaust resistance; when the engine is running at high speed, it will seriously hinder the flow of exhaust gas, so that the exhaust gas cannot be discharged in time, which directly leads to a decrease in the engine ventilation efficiency and limits the engine's power output. In addition, the design of the exhaust system will directly affect the engine's power output characteristics, and it is also of great significance in the car's adaptability to various road conditions.

GT-R's mid-tail exhaust is made of titanium alloy. Everyone knows that the strength of titanium alloy is much higher than that of ordinary steel; therefore, under the premise of ensuring the overall strength of the exhaust system, the use of titanium alloy can make the exhaust pipe wall thinner, and its lightweight advantage is further highlighted. Structurally, this exhaust adopts a double-sided four-outlet design, and cancels the design of the middle silencer drum, replacing it with a straight-through pipe; it can reduce the exhaust resistance and provide the engine with higher exhaust efficiency when needed. In addition, the addition of a variable exhaust valve system can also control the flow path of the engine exhaust. When the valve is closed, the exhaust gas is discharged through the back pressure pipe, which can reduce the low-torque loss after improving the exhaust smoothness; when the valve is opened, the exhaust gas is discharged through the straight-through pipe in exchange for the highest ventilation efficiency, so that the horsepower of the engine at high speed can obtain a larger burst space, while taking into account the use requirements of high-speed horsepower and low torque.

Although a good modified exhaust cannot bring a large amount of power to the car, it can leave a larger space for later power upgrades; at the same time, it can also make the power performance of the car after the power upgrade better. This is indeed of great significance for the modification and upgrade of the car.
